Its official. We* now own** this beauty***. Today was closing day. Everything seemed to go fairly smoothly.

Sign, sign, sign our lives away.

Of course its freezing today so we didn't spend too much time hanging out in there since there is no heat or working plumbing. Mr. Limestone carried me over the threshold which put him health at great risk for back injury...but a sweet start to what I hope to be a happy story.

    Stef,

I found your link at ebride. You are getting ready for one fantastic ride! I'm hoping to follow along, for the sheer thrill. Your home is going to be fantastic. The woodworking detail, the leaded glass, the white tiles in the bathroom, the ceilings, UNBELIEVABLE!
I excited for you. When do you start? ;)

I found your blog through emmawoodhouse on LJ and had to check it out. You are certainly in for a ride, but the house has so much potential. They just don't make houses like that anymore, which is something my husband and I often walk around NYC lamenting. It's reallye exciting that you'll be able to fix it up and maintain all that charm. It's going to be stunning once your'e done.

    good luck
    xx
