I applied on a whim - I just assumed I'd never hear from them. Kind of like playing lotto.
I have to admit I was a wee bit scared to read the comments. Sometimes it can get downright ugly but much to my shock, everyone was super sweet. Even the people who had something negative to say had some valid points.
Anywho, I just wanted to share my excitement over it. I know its not really important at all but Apartment Therapy was one of the first blogs I ever read so its almost surreal to see one of my photos staring back at me there.

I used to love AT, but I kind of stopped reading because of the negativity. For example
My neighbor had her beautiful condo patio deck featured on LA AT and some mean commentors started a nasty conversation about the price of the HOAs in our condo complex. So lame.

It IS a big deal, but I'm not one bit surprised that your home was chosen. It is absolutely stunning. And bravo to you for sticking up for your tv choice. Some people seem to think beautiful design is all fantasy, not for actual living. You have merged the two seamlessly.
Oh, btw...the office walls are Benjamin Moore's Saybrook Sage? I always thought it was turquoise in color. My kitchen is Saybrook Sage lol.
Naz - my office walls are BM Waterfall. The bedroom walls are Saybrook Sage.
