Steal this Idea*: Vintage Revivals' Teapot Lamp

Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a well executed tutorial. Today's entry takes "stealing" to a whole new level courtesy of Vintage Revivals .

When I first saw this stacked teapot lamp at Anthropologie, I'm sure I was not alone in admiring its cuteness while thinking 'I could do that myself'. Well Mandi went all the way and actually did it AND was kind enough to share how. She got herself a little stack of lovely ceramics.

A bit of drilling and stacking later ...

She made this:

Adorable right? It only cost her $32 including the drill bit!. Sweet. Pretty fabulous right? Check out all the details at her blog.

*When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!
**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!

  1. Cool! I like Mandi's even better than Anthro's actually. I'm dying for pops of yellow lately.
