Bugs!

I had planned to have some great posts this week including a couple of trip recaps and the results of the living room dresser paint job. But I have to confess that I haven't done very much. I caught some kind of bug on Monday night and haven't had the energy to do much since. So my apologies for the lack of excitement today.

Until then, here is a photo of a different kind of bug from a recent trip. More to come on that soon.

  12. Oh, sorry you are feeling ill. Get better quickly.
I say it's from the Pacific Northwest, just to be contrary. :)

  13. Well, it looks like a Blue Monarch. I saw those in Australia (Melbourne, to be exact) many, many years ago at the Royal Melbourne Zoo. Don't think that was where you were. I'll say Singapore. They have a few there including one at the airport.

  14. By "few there", I meant Butterfly Gardens, not random butterflies roaming the city.

  15. I was going to guess Brazil, but since others have already guessed that, I'll change it up and guess Panama!

  29. I see you already have a couple of guesses for costa rica - that was my guess as well. You had posted a photo of arenal on your blog a while ago, so I am guessing you have traveled there. I was at arenal for 5 days and saw nothing remotely like a volcano, just a fog covered mountain! Hope you are feeling better.
