Halloween Love List III

With just one more day til Halloween, its time for the third and final installment of the Halloween love list.

I have a special treat today because TwoDelighted send me some photos of their fabulous Harry Potter themed Halloween party this year. Nothing makes me happier than a good Halloween party - even I only get to attend in spirit - but this one is extra amazing because they put so much thought into all the details I just love!  Here are a couple of shots from the spooky event but be sure to visit their blog to see lots more including a great invitation to start it off right!

And for those who prefer a little simplier Halloween inspiration, here is two easy yet impressive projects using stuff you might already have laying around.  The first is a palm frond pumplkin from the Space Between and a free diner party printable from FunkyTime

Do you have a great Halloween craft or party to share? Drop me a line.

Hurricane Sandy has put a bit of a damper (pardon the pun!) on our own Halloween preparations but I'm still hoping the skies part and the most fun day of the year isn't ruined for us (or all the kids out there dying to wear their costumes and collect oodles of candy.)  I'll be back on Thursday to the final installment of our  Wicked of Oz celebration.

  4. We throw a costume party each year, due largely in part to Halloween being my all time favorite holiday! Here are a few of the special touches I employ each year for our party: http://www.oldtownhome.com/2012/10/25/The-Devils-in-the-Details-Tips-for-Throwing-a-Memorable-Halloween-Party/index.aspx

  6. Those floating candles are awesome!  Hope you weathered the storm without incident and that your awesome outdoor monkeys weren't blown all the way to OZ w/ the winds!

  7. Thanks Erin. We took all the monkeys down to be on the safe side.

It's so good to see you today!  I've spent my day checking with friends and family all up the eastern coast.  Most in eastern Ma and Southern NH and they're all fine.  If that storm had come into Florida it would have covered us from Ga to the Keys and across the Gulf.  No more Florida.
Oh....and thank you for today's post.  Seeing another blogger who was in harms way is a good thing.
