Steal this Idea: Christmas Carol Bunting

Its Friday (yippee!) - time for another Steal this Idea* feature - a tiny show of appreciation for a well executed tutorial. Today's feature something that I can't believe has been sitting on the interwebs for 3 years and Ive never seen before. I love it so hard!  It doesn't even need a tutorial - its that easy!

Katiedid simply freehand cut out the characters of her favorite Christmas music and decorated her home with this clever idea. Even if you had explained the idea to me, I would not have believed it would look so fabulous. Genius! Extra points to her husband for doing most of the cutting.  Now that is love!

postscript: *When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!

**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!

  2. This would be great in our entry hall. But probably best I don't mention it in addition to the 2 million other holiday crafts my wife has going on.

I've had this  magical image on my hard drive for a couple of years. Love this so much but have never taken the time to actually do it. I love that someone had this in their home.  Beautiful.

We've done this, but I didn't have the patience to cut each of the letters by hand, so I just ran them through my Cricut.  It makes a great impact and it costs nearly nothing.

  6. So cute! I love this idea. Although, it seems intimidatingly time-consuming. Perhaps with a Cricut if I had one (as someone else suggested).
