Succulent!

Succulents Trio

After my first week back at work, I had a fabulous weekend cuddling with baby, enjoying the company of friends and even getting a few household projects completed.  The one above was just a simple outdoor centerpiece using succulents and extra terracotta pots I had laying around from my vertical herb garden. Sadly the plants in my succulent chandelier didn't survive the hurricane so I'll have to replenish.

I know its horribly on trend to be so enamored with succulents but they are a black thumb's girl best friend. Happy Monday!

  1. If you have enough sun, succulents are great for tables as they dont require alot of watering (less messy). I always look at the succenlents in HD whenever i am there.

Hope your first week back wasn't too painful...

  3. Succulents can be a container gardener's best friends. I love all the variations in color and texture.

  4. I love how you layered the pots. I love succulents as well but I can kill them even though my African violets thrive all winter. Go figure!

  5. I love succulents, so beautiful! You don't get very long off for maternity in the states. We get a year here in Canada. So important! Glad you enjoyed your weekend cuddling.

  6. Nice! I am into them lately too (if plants are trendy, that's only good I think!) and have two inside and a ton of hen and chicks I picked up last week in planters outside. I've nearly killed one of my inside plants, but I don't know if it is from neglect or love...

I'm into anything that I can't kill! These have a great look to them too!

  8. I adore them too. They are much lower maintenance than many other plants. These look great! Recently, I used an old frying pan to make a little succulent collage: http://wellreadfish.blogspot.com/2013/04/miscellany.html

    I'm kind of obsessed.

  9. Gorgeous! I wish I could plant something like that here, but it's a little too early in my neck of the woods. I'm inspired, though!

What a coincidence! I just bought mini succulents this past weekend. I don't think there's anything cuter than succulents!
