The burlap and lace trend is huge right now all over the country! Recently, we created a baby shower using this look for a past bride and close friend. We’re seeing this look with everything from birthday celebrations to weddings and everything in between.
Use these details as inspiration that you can easily recreate on your own!
We had two event details in particular that are so simple that you can create on your own!
Signature Drink Glassware
Another huge trend that’s been hanging on for a few years now is the mason jar.
With this event, we wanted to change it up just a bit to also incorporate this burlap and lace feeling. All you need to do for this project is get some small doilies, some burlap ribbon and hot glue. That’s it. And just top off your look with a designer straw to complement your overall theme! This was one of the easiest event crafts we’ve done in a long time!
Fill these cute glasses up with this delish Southern baby shower punch and call it a day!
Any printed item you can incorporate in your event is an easy place to add some detail and thoughtful touches. With these baby wishes, we used craft-style paper (this was actually a paper I found in my Grandfather’s office from about 40 years ago!), added designer cardstock, and accented with burlap ribbon and lace washi tape.
For the printed layer, I simply ran this white cardstock through my printer and designed these easily. The last touch was a petal stamp embellishment on the top. It took me about 3 hours total one night to complete 40 of these. Not too bad for such a fabulous finished product!
You could take this same idea to use for the menu or even an invitation!
