Thanks to everyone for the feedback. Great ideas that I will have to figure a way to implement.

On the table, I absolutely LOVE this marble table. It looks a bit smallish in the wide angle photo but its not that bad. If it were a few inches bigger, that would be better but this was as closes as I could find and it suits me well. But you can hold judgement until I put some more finishing touches out there.

I would use the marble table as an extra serving place during parties and put a plant or something on top of it the rest of the time. Just go for a bigger and more comfortable table and chairs set for the area under the pergola. The marble table is cute, but not comfortable for all the times you should be cozying up on the deck with morning coffee, dinner, etc.

Just stumbled upon your blog. Great job on the deck and pergola. I would suggest some outdoor curtains. They would add drama and privacy. You can tie them back when not in use. Mixed with a light fixture and plants it'll really look smashing!

People always forget about lighting - so glad you added the recessed lights. They'll help create more of a mood.

How about anchoring the seating space with a rug (Ikea has some nice graphic ones. A bold black and white stripe, perhaps?). Gunmetal rectangular planters with grasses would create a clean look. You could place them in between the potlights to create some drama when they're uplit.

It's amazing! I commented on Katie @ Bower Power's post about her yard that I was jealous of her outdoor space. Now I'm jealous of yours too! I el-oh-vee-ee pergolas. I love the deck. I would definitely hang a chandelier under the pergola. I would consider placing some planters at the base of the pergola and planting some sort of climbing vine that would climb and cover the pergola. I would also add some evergreens in large planters that way they will look good all year round. Looks great. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

i absolutely love how this turned out! but ... i can't figure out for the life of me how it's standing up). we have a deck in our backyard that's about the same size and we have a ton more support beams. then again, they used cheap wood that's rotting through so they're pretty much useless.

i saw a really cheap cuteish victorian style mini chandelier at ikea that might work for lighting - i'm stumped on chairs for you. myself, i'm coveting painted adirondacks but i don't think that's the look you're going for out here.

But now that I'm thinking about it- what if you took one of those old brass chandeliers that you see in 80's homes (you know all the ones people are painting and re-vamping) and pull out all the wiring, spray paint it and use it with candles. I bet you could find one on ebay, or even craigslist for like $20.
