You have done a great job of preservation and updating with respect. brooklynienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38356705.post-57950616604510915852008-07-08T16:07:00.000-04:002008-07-08T16:07:00.000-04:00Your floors look wonderful. So, I'm sorry your sorry about not using the dark color, but maybe the additional sense of light will make up for it?

Your house is lovely! I don't think I'll be able to keep what's left of my parquet floors, and I'm envious at how much you have left!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38356705.post-80222591043816793622008-01-18T19:45:00.000-05:002008-01-18T19:45:00.000-05:00Totally true Laura. I could never see myself getting gloss in my home for obvious reasons (although a semi gloss may work with the wide plank I want)- I think it definitely suits yours - definitively glamorous, I agree with chriskauf!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38356705.post-39736847342553144702008-01-18T19:34:00.000-05:002008-01-18T19:34:00.000-05:00I love dark floors too and I should have probably ...I love dark floors too and I should have probably held my ground but Ive learned sometimes I have to just let it go. I think a nice painted floor would be a great addition to your home, I want to put in pine floors in my daughters room and paint them white, she wants them too.
That big old project of yours is nearing the end, I can't wait to see your furnishings and style of all the things you put into it.Chris Kauffmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01484823325531182507noreply@blogger.com
