Naughty or Nice? Christmas Gift Tag Freebie
**THIS POST WAS UPDATED DEC 2012 TO UPDATE THE DOWNLOAD FOR USE IN ANY YEAR**
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. How can the same four days off seemed luxiouriously long on Thursday morning but felt impossibly short on Sunday night? Oh well. We did have a great weekend full of giving thanks, celebrating the wedding of a wonderful couple, retail therapy and crafting. What more can I ask for?
Naturally, I'm very excited to be kicking off the official holiday season. That means lots of Christmas projects to come on the blog. I'm putting up the tree, making wreaths, christmas cards and all other kinds of goodies.
And today I'm making merry with a little free printable - tongue in check gift tags I designed so I could get my own wrapping underway. And yes, I was signing Santa Claus is coming to Town all weekend long.
Would you like some of your own? Just download, print and hole punch.

Enjoy! If you put them to use, I'd love to see / hear about it.
In case you missed it, you'll find three more Christmas freebies floating around here as well. This Christmas mini poster, more gift tags and a self mailer card.

What is the weight of the paper you use for the cards and gift tags? I think they are adorable and plan to use them. Thanks for helping me check two items off of my to-do list.
ReplyDeleteI used what I had - 110lb cardstock. But you don't have to use something so thick - any cardstock will do. Or it could be printed on a label sheet and then stuck on the package instead of stringing it.
ReplyDeleteWow I really love those, thanks! What wrapping paper do you show in that photo?

Thanks for the freebie!!
ReplyDeleteLove it - of course!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely adorable! Unfortunately someone in my family would be severely offended if I even thought of using them and would complain for years about that time I called her son naughty (even though he's terrible).
ReplyDeleteLove this fun tag! You are so kind to share with us.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Thanks for sharing, Stefanie:).
ReplyDeleteYeah! thanks!!! I'm a total softie when it comes to mailing accessories.
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious and brilliant. I love it. I'm so printing these out for the pressies this year.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Random question, but I love the string you used! Where did you get it? Also, is the brown paper just packaging paper?
ReplyDeletethat is so nice!:)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much- I love what you create!!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are SO cute!! Thanks for the freebie!! Did you print yours on manilla colored paper or is that just the glow from the lights?
ReplyDeleteCool idea! gotta try it this year.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and the tags look lovely.
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable! Can't wait to put them to good use! Thank you! Also, I've been meaning to post how in awe I was of your Halloween extravaganza!
ReplyDeleteMust be the lights - I printed on white paper.
ReplyDeleteThe string is just bakery twine. I bought a little package of it a few years ago. The brown paper is sort of like kraft paper. I use it to mail stuff.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, these are adorable!
ReplyDeleteThese are so great...I'd love to use them. Unfortunately in my home country we celebrate at the 24th of Dec. so they don't fit for 90 % of my presents.
ReplyDeleteGreat Idea though...love them
Just some brown paper I had bought in a prior year. Its not quite kraft paper but it has the same look.
ReplyDeletecan't wait to use these!!

I found this via Pinterest and just had to say thank you for the tags. I already have had the tradition for years of wrapping presents from Santa in Brown paper and twine/ribbon, but I've never had a specific way of writing what person they are for. I love this idea, and will be using it for years to come. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for
ReplyDeleteThanks for providing this download. When I saw you post it a couple of weeks ago, I knew it would be a perfect fit for what I was envisioning for presenting our presents this year. In fact, I actually began the gift wrapping process, and I love how it turns out.

ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs. Limestone for the creative tags. Question...how can I change the year on the arrival date? Perhaps I don't know how to use Adobe very well.

I'd love to use this tag this year for our surprise!! Thanks.

ReplyDeleteNot to be Debbie Downer - but the popular blog IDEA ROOM just ripped off this tag idea & didn't give credit. Boo. Not good sportsmanship at this time of year. http://www.theidearoom.net/2014/12/santa-gift-tag-printables.html
