Away we went: Last year

It's that time of year again. I hunkered down for a few hours on Sunday and put together my 2011 travel book. I just might have set a new personal record for getting this done in the first half of the year. Hooray! Just have to put my order in and I'll have a third volume to stack on 2009 and 2010.

Want to flip through the pages? Here is the 2011 edition.

For any specific information on a trip, just hop over to my travel page for more. I've also written an 'inexpert' guide to taking better vacation photos and planning a trip if you are interested. I've been working on another inexpert edition about packing for any trip in a single carry on but I'm having some recent struggles with packing for my next trip so I'm having a hard time doling out advice right now :)

  2. I love these books and need to stash some cash so I can get one. I just got back from New York and did a packing post because I refuse to check a bag. Ten days and only one carry on? Yes ma'am. :)

A few hours? It always takes me days to complete a book like this! It's so hard to decide what pictures to choose ... Cant' wait to see yours!

Your photos are amazing!  How fortunate you and your husband are to be able to travel as extensively as you have!  How wonderful that you are talented and can capture the memories too!  Nothing like having a coffee table book (or 3)with YOUR photos in it!  Wow. Am I impressed. And jealous...if I ddin't enjoy your blog so much (for obvious reasons having to do with even MORE talent! ) I think I could hate you...

  5. If it makes you feel any better we aren't traveling quite so much this year. While we love it, last year was more than most since I had some extra time off when I switched jobs.
