Halloween Freebie (updated)

See, I told you there would be more Halloween posts. Since several of you mentioned you might be having Halloween parties this year, I thought I'd give away a little digital freebie. A toe tag inspired Halloween invitation!

I made this one really simple. Just print on cardstock, cut it out and fill it in as you like. If you want to get fancy, I'd suggest punching a hole at the top and threading some string before dropping it in the envelope. Now isn't that simple?

Hmmmm...I'm looking at the calendar and realizing Im even more behind on my own invitations than I realized (if you haven't guessed already, these are not them). How did it get to be mid September? Anyway, more to come on those later.

Hope you can put this to good use. If you do use this, please let me know and I can post some variations on it for menus, drink tags, etc..

Anyway, a little gift from me to you. Hope you enjoy them.

Many thanks to Reba for pointing out there was a mistake with the original file. All fixed now.

So clever! It would be funny to tie a bloody cut off toe (if they make them? I know they make fingers...) to the string and mail it to guests in a box. I want to have a Halloween party too! Hmm...

  8. What are you talking about, it is not mid September! Really...this came as a surprise to me!

No halloween party here...I'll be fortunate to just get the decorating done to a level that pleases the kids!

Great invite idea, though. Someone is going to LOVE winning them!

This is hilarious. Great idea! I must say, I have never been a huge Halloween fan but recently picked up Martha Stewart Halloween magazine and there are fabulous ideas. I think I am warming up to this holiday....

  11. How awesome are you?!?!

I already designed some basic/halfway cute email invites but I may have to reconsider...dilemma! So excited you have more to share! I'm planning on doing some cool labeled specimen jars, etc. If you have any dandy tricks for those!

  20. I am loving the toe-tag idea! That would be a lot of fun attached to a toe like others have said!

  21. That's hilarious! It took me a couple secs to get it (maybe I'm a little slow like that!), but so funny! We live in Westchester, and actually get about 400 trick-or-treaters. It was our first Halloween in the house last year, and we ran out of candy!

  25. These are awesome!!
We have an annual Halloween Bash as well and I usually send out the invites October 1st, so you putting these out in time works well and it's so unique. I might attached a fake dead toe on them just for kicks!

Thanks so much! Can't wait to see what else you have.

  26. Thanks so much for the toe tags! I have attached them to plastic 30cm skeletons and hung them inside black wine boxes as my sons party invites! Really happy with them - thanks for the inspiration!

  27. This is very cool! I can see an invitee becoming really perplexed about the 'department of health' stamp! They would have to show up just to see what the party was all about!

This is so cool. Did you design/create the image? Do you have a version without "you are invited" on it?

  33. I love these, they are great! What program did you use to make them? I am organizing a fundraiser for a new horror theatre org, and I am looking for something to use as tickets to the event, which will be July 17. If you have an editable version of the file, or if this is a challenge that appeals to you, please let me know! Thanks very much.
