One Table, 3 Ways for Christmas

Thursday, December 12, 2013

One of my favorite ways to get inspired is to admire all of the fabulous work that store merchandisers do to show their stores wares.  Especially around the holidays, I could spend endless time just pretending to live in certain stores.

Case in point, Selfridges Christmas Shoppe, who had 3 of the exact same table + chair set ups styled in different ways. Despite some odd looks from fellow shoppers, I ran around and took photos just so I could share it with you 2 months later!

What about you?  Are you putting together something extra special on your holiday tables?

  1. Oh my goodness I am so glad I am not the only one who pretends / wishes she lives in certain stores! I don't even have to go to the store, sometimes the catalogs are enough to get me dreaming. These are great pictures and I would be more than happy to sit down and eat dinner at either setting, especially if someone else is cooking. I just have one question do they have a bedroom set up in this store cause I might feel a sleepy after dinner. :)

  2. There are certain stores that I frequent just because the stylist is so good. There is a candleshop near where my Mom lives and everything they display looks so cool that I swear I'm going to do the same thing when I get home. Somehow, the vase of pinto beans holding the tall white tapers doesn't look as cool when I do it as in the store.

  3. I just got so excited to find out where this store was so I could go check it out - and then I realized you took these pics while on vacation! I guess that just means I'll have to plan a trip!

  5. I actually have those chairs around our dining table. Why didn't I think to decorate them? Thanks for the idea!
