Toys as Art | Die Ugly Toys Die

Today's Die Ugly Toys, Die is a great solution for those of us who have, ahem, trouble letting go of sentimental items  You know like a special lovie or collection that needs to get out of the toy bin but you can't bear to part with it?  Instead of the trash, 4 men 1 lady shows us how to compose it beautifully in a frame as artwork!

So smart!  I especially love how you could use this idea to decorate a themed room without buying lots of extra decorative items.  Stop by 4 men 1 lady for more.

Want more inspiration?  Check back every Thursday for a new installment or check out the past weeks' features below.

I have lots of other great #dieuglytoysdie projects to share with you for this summer series - I hope you love them as much as I do.  Want your project to be featured?  Drop me a line.

    1. I just checked out Makerista - she did something equally cool by framing a photograph of a toy - but these are the actual toys! (That batman photo she has is great!) Which appeals to the hoarder side of me that doesn't to throw perfectly good things away.

  2. I love this idea! We don't have kids but I'm trying to think of something little we can frame up like this. It would be counter productive to buy something so I can make this, right? :-)

    1. I bet you could find really cool items at flea markets and yard sales. So that's almost free, right? :)
