Ahoy Natey!

Along with a ton of other fabulous design bloggers, I'll be in the audience of the Nate Berkus Show. How excited am I? A lot.

Big thanks to the Moggit girls for getting us all invited, Camila for arranging an afterparty so I can actually talk to some of the people I've been stalking for the past 4 years and Chanee for putting together a photo guide so I can find them in the crowd. Awesome.

Check out my Nate love letter here.

  13. I'm curious what you think about the show. I love all things Nate. I've watched two episodes so far and I feel terrible saying this, but I don't love the show. I still love Nate, but the talk show format just isn't working for me. I think I'd prefer him in his own HGTV style show. I do intend to keep watching so maybe it will grow on me...

  14. I've watched a couple of his shows but I can never watch an entire episode. I find his voice grating and the Kool-aid induced audience is too much like the Oprah masses. I thought it would be fun to see actual bloggers on tv but after reviewing several negative reviews I'm disappointed for all the people who spent a ton of money to get there and then not even been mentioned.

I think he would be better suited for a half hour design show on HGTV rather than a talk show. Personally I don't care what women carry in their handbags. The production staff that came up with that segment should be ashamed.

  15. I must have been living under a rock because I didn't know a thing about this. Shame on me!

  16. It was so great to meet you yesterday! I'll be posting the few photos I actually remembered to take tomorrow. It was so nice to actually get to see faces and hear the voices of so many of these bloggers whose lives and work we read about everyday - hopefully I'll see you again someday soon!

It was so great to meet you this week! Loved talking about travels and I think I moved Bali down on my travel wishlist due to all those trash stories!! Hope all is well!
