Countdown to Halloween: You are Invited

A quick check of the calendar and there is just 27 days until Halloween! Im working on this years projects - the first on the list being the party invitation.

I don't think it can top last year's Creature Survival Kit invitation but I hope its just as much of a treat for our guests to find in their mailboxes.

I'm putting the final touches on this years mailing now. More on those later. But until then, I wanted to share some other fabulous invitations I found on flickr. See, I'm not the only one who goes all out for All Hallows Eve.

  10. I think your invitations from last year were the best. We are hosting our second Halloween party, I am making our invitations this year using your arachnid poison sign as inspiration. Last year we did a verson of Martha Stewart's invitation of the severed finger, but I made my own invitations and we embelished a little more. We also hand delivered all the invitations in costume the first week of Oct. to give our guests plenty of time to prepare. It was a smash hit and we are hoping this years' party is just as much fun. I am also posting all month long about different parts of the Halloween party prep. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.

  24. So....I totally stole an idea from one of your flickr finds.
It got me all inspired and I stayed up until midnight last night finishing them. (Which is a big deal when you have a 7mo old.)
