Won't you be my neighbor?

Being the real estate stalker that I am, I can't help but fall a little in love with this renovated revival home that is done entirely in blacks and whites. There is something peaceful just looking at it.

more details can be found at the corcoran listing

Granted, it wouldn't be quite so peaceful once I added my own mess but I have to give a slow clap to the designers here. Makes me want to break out the brush and repaint my whole house white!

What do you think?  Could you live in an all white house?

  1. My childhood home was all white. Like White White. Not off white or cream or anything but the brightest of whites. It's a pretty modern home (esp for the time 30ish years ago!). I always dreamed of being able to paint the walls - I finally 29 years later live in a place where I finally can.

  2. Stunning. I think the wood floors keep it from looking too sterile.

  3. Love it! I keep going back and forth on painting my whole house white. So far I've done the guest bath and kitchen and I totally love them.

  4. I'm in the minority, I know, but I find too much white to be stark. This is of course a lovely home, but it feels too cold to me.

Which just reminded me of that episode of AbFab where Eddy flashes back to Bettina and Max's minimalist apartment, and now I am going to have to go watch it on You tube!

  7. I could definitely live there. Love the stained glass over the front door and the staircase. Nice sunny rooms with beautiful windows. I could settle in quite nicely. Must set up a fund to raise the 4 mil though.

  8. Wow stunning I love all the white. My husband would love to be back in the city where he grew up. Thanks for showing us this beauty.
