The kitchen continued...
{05 oct 2007}

As a follow up to my earlier kitchen post, the cabinets are now on order. Woo-hoo!

We had to wait this long because we weren't certain just how well we could move the plumbing to accommodate the extra foot we're squeezing into the room. Now that the wall is framed out, we were able to confirm our measurements and put the order in.

We picked this inset door style in a creamy off white called buttercream.

Knobs will be glass with a black trim

Countertops are still under discussion. I still love the soapstone and am not bothered by how it will look after it has scratches in it. Mr. Limestone is not quite as willing to accept a more lived in look so we may end up settling with honed black granite. But now that Im looking into that material, Im reading horror stories. So thats still up in the air but there is plenty of time for that decision.

    Girl we have the same taste in *almost* everything - LOL. My dream kitchen will of course be white farmhouse style - but I just BOUGHT those knobs for my pantry closet!

    Can't wait to see your kitchen, this is all so exciting!

    Hey guys,

    Not sure if you remember me but you and your wife came over to my home to check out my renovation project about 1 year ago. Send me an email to mr_tico@yahoo.com with your contact info as I am starting a video blog on renovations in Windsor Terrace and would love to include your place.

    Thanks,
