She turned something bound for the trash into a fabulous jewelry organizer. (You might remember my attempt at jewelry organization ages ago but mine is sad and pathetic in comparison)
She started off with this:
And ended up with this:
Such a great idea. I just so happen to have a little stash of old windows myself so expect to see me blatantly ripping this idea off for my own purposes. Check out all the details for this project at A Borrowed Abode.

*When I say steal, I really mean borrow nicely and give proper credit!
**If you have an idea/tutorial you would like me to consider for a feature, email me. I'd love to see!
I totally need this! I hate having all my jewelry stored away where I forget to wear it!

Love this idea! Extra bonus - having them on display might lead me to actually wear my jewelry instead of leaving them in their hidey hole.
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing way to deal with jewelry. Thanks for stealing this idea I might need to do the same!
ReplyDeletei love it! it seems to have all of the necessary elements. problem is, this type of window frame is so hard to find nowadays because everyone's doing awesome crafty projects with them.
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to see Jane here! I got to meet her in Nashville at the Blissdom Conference and she is so genuine! Great feature:)
ReplyDeleteI could use a jewlery organizer like this - my necklaces are one tangled & jumbled mess in a drawer. I did come up with a great way to organize earrings, though - a plastic box with little compartments that I picked up at the Dollar Store :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's also cool because you can easlily experiment with different backgrounds, using wallpapers, patterned textiles, or even magazine covers ...
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be my spring project. I love this idea. I hate jewelry boxes. This will look great hanging on my wall. Thanks for posting this.
