Winter Snaps

Oh to be garage less blogger in the winter is a little bit of a mixed blessing and curse. On the one hand, not having anyplace to do a messy project means I can sit back and relax for a little while.  On the other, I have all of these projects I want to tackle and have to twiddle my thumbs while the snow piles up.  In the meantime, here is what has been keeping me busy.

(1) NYC is frozen, no news there.  (2) Big Cat has either a new frenemy that he spends countless hours staring at through glass. (3) I really enjoyed reading Tinkerlab written by a fellow blogger. Especially in this weather, creative inspiration on what to keep little hands occupied with is always welcomed. (4) I don't have a use for them but I loved this rope mirror that Michael's was selling for $20 each.  Go grab a few! (5) I finally got that Ikea cart home and I have to fill it with art supplies but for now its the worlds best toy on wheels (6) Guess who gave into her Craigslist obsession and bought a new piece that needs a makeover?  this gal.

Summer Snaps

This is it people, the last few weeks of summer.  Make the most of it.  Here is what I've been up to...

I'm also working on a few other projects I can't share yet but I hope you'll love them. You know how much I love fall but if summer would slow down just a tiny bit, that would be great!  I'm not done with it yet.

Winter Snaps

Most of the time, I love living in NYC but this winter has really been a drag.  I know I'm not alone in thinking this winter seemed a little more bleak. Thankfully its starting to warm up.  Hurry spring, don't be late!

Holiday Snaps

A few snaps from my life lately...

Gotta love my city's balls #merrychristmas Waiting in line to mail these puppies with what feels like the entire manhattan population in line.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a... cat? Just as we finished hanging the garlands, snow of the started falling. Now that's the spirit!
This commute just got a lot merrier thanks to @marthastewart #shetakesthemorningtrain Outings are better on a full tummy.

Christmas is just a week away and I still have a lot to do including decorating the dining room, wrapping presents and hosting the feast. And then just a few days after Christmas, we are throwing Agatha's first birthday party which I've done absolutely nothing for just yet.

My to-do list is long but the days are short!   Thankfully I just love this time of year so I don't mind the hustle and bustle.

What about you?  Have you finished your list and checked it twice or will you be a last minute Christmas cruncher like me?

Spring Snaps

Spring is always the most fun time to go out exploring. Here are some snaps of the season.

Winter Snaps

This winter has been really mild - very little snow or freezing days but I'm still ready for it to be over. Now that the days are getting longer, I'm really anxious for spring. Who's with me?

Autumn Snapshots

I don't usually share much of my 'normal' day to day life here because really, who could possibly care? But once a season I can share a few random but interesting tidbits of living in NYC thanks to the camera phone. Yea autumn!
